 Areas of expertise

For more than twenty years, ICS has been supplying solutions to its farmers clients in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. With affiliate companies in Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Madagascar, ICS has developed the onion and garlic business, after having become a leader in the fields of potato, corn, cereals, and forage crops (lucerne, Rhodes grass).

Today, we are working in other countries of the same areas on other crops such as sunflowers, field fruits (melons, strawberries), and orchards (apple, citrus etc..). 
 

 Greencoop: our partner for Algeria

For several years, ICS has been building a relationship with Greencoop, an agricultural company based in Algeria. Greencoop's deep knowledge of the algerian agriculture combined to ICS's long experience of crop management in arid areas allow powerfull synergies and outstanding results for a large range of crops.

Among many promising activities, artichokes production is clearly on the go. We recommend the use of hybrid artichokes which are available as seeds. In fact, this approach presents many advantages: homogeneity, lower diseases incidence, better frost tolerance...

ICS and Greencoop are also promoting direct drill in Algeria. Results obtained with the 300C Rapid (an S model, fitted with a fertilizer option) are outstanding for wheat as well as forage crops: easier sowing of cereals and quicker forage crop establishment while using less seeds: you can save up to 60% of seeds!
