 Company history

ICS was created in 1987 by Jean-François
Martin, an agronomist engineer deeply concerned with agricul-tural
development in arid areas, and two friends, specializing in trade
and transport. The company is based in La Rochelle, France, a rural
area specialized in dairy production. Over the years it has expanded to many countries around the world.

2002
 First
visits to Sudan in 2002 have produced very positive results. Among this,
ICS has supplied Monosem NG planters
to the Gezira scheme in Wad Medani. Monosem
MS planters have also been tested for onion direct planting, combined with a Franquet shallow cultivator.
2001
 First
sales of farm machinery to Algeria.
1999
 Fist
sales of seed potato in Lebanon. Export of
onions from Madagascar to Reunion Island. Consultancy
work for the European Union in Mauritania.

Capital
increase with other friends, agriculture specialists involved in publishing,
trade, agriculture production and technical assistance.

The
