Growing quality hay at a reasonable cost requires experience and observation. For 20 years, we have been studying soils and alfalfa cultivars in many different arid areas. The result is: outstanding forage management programs. They are based on successful crop establishment (high performance machinery & soil preparation techniques), variety selection and harvest management solutions.

Success story

ICS, an outstanding supplier for an outstanding farm : Almaraï, Saudi Arabia

The Almaraï farm is one of the biggest dairy farms in the world. They have a perfect knowledge of stock breeding and milk production and obtain up to 30% higher yields than other farms. High performance farmers need high performance partners to keep the lead. ICS was therefore asked to work on alfalfa planting on a wide scale: equipment and variety selection and testing. The best planter for alfalfa establishment was certainly the Väderstad Rapid which gave a total and uniform emergence, key for a good crop.
