With more than 20 years of experience in agriculture in arid areas we have acquired a real technical and economical expertise for multiple species. Thus, we analyse our clients projects and supply solutions in the perspective of a sustainable development of their farm.
Our method : compare production targets with farming constraints to find possible options.
- Production targets
For which market is the product designed ? Which selling circuit can be used ? Do the products have to undergo a long transportation? Which legal constraints must be taken into account?
These are a few examples of the type of questions to consider.
- Farming constraints
Natural conditions (soil type, climate) as well as the organization of the farm : equipment, human skills...
Thus, we might recommend :
- the choice of one or multiple species which can be enhanced;
- the selection of varieties which are adapted to soil and climate conditions ;
- a crop management program compatible wtih sustainable agriculture. This means : respect of soil structure, intelligent use of natural ressources (water,...) and of pesticides and fertilizers ;
- the use of adapted equipment in terms of efficiency, size and robustness.
